Managing multiple travelers

How to run an AirJIT shipment across more than one traveler: multi-leg relays, split weight, hub Hosts, and confirming each hop before J1USD releases.

6 min read · English

Some shipments need more than one traveler. Either the weight exceeds one person’s leftover kg, or no single trip covers the full route. AirJIT can chain legs. You manage timing so the parcel is never unowned between people — a Host is the usual buffer.

Multi-leg (relay)

  1. Leg 1 traveler collects at origin and flies to the hub.
  2. They hand off at the hub airport or Host. Inspection happens again.
  3. Leg 2 traveler flies hub to destination.
  4. Recipient confirms final delivery. J1USD releases per completed, defined steps.

Split weight (two parcels)

If you physically split one order into two packages, create two listings with honest weights. Do not describe one heavy box as two bookings. Each listing has its own hold and confirmation.

Coordination tips

  • Give hub windows real slack. Missed connections are normal in air travel.
  • Prefer a Host hold over leaving a bag with an unnamed friend of a traveler.
  • Track each leg’s status separately so you know who has custody now.
