Traveler matching

How AirJIT matches your parcel to travelers: airport cities, dates, leftover kg, and confirmation by both sides before payment is held in J1USD.

6 min read · English

Matching starts from two listings: your parcel and someone’s trip. The app shows trips that can carry your size, weight, route, and window. Ranking stays inside the product. Both sides still confirm before payment is held.

What makes a trip compatible

  • Origin and destination airport cities align with your listing (or a planned multi-leg path)
  • Travel dates fit your send and receive window
  • Leftover luggage kg and dimensions fit the parcel
  • The traveler accepts your contents category and handoff style
  • Verification and listing quality meet the corridor’s requirements

Direct versus multi-leg

A direct traveler is the simple case: one person flies origin to destination. When none is available, AirJIT can link more than one trip. The parcel hands off at a hub — airport meet or a Host — and each traveler is matched only to their leg.

How to review a match

  1. Open the suggested trip. Check dates, airports, and available kg.
  2. Read the traveler’s handoff preferences and any Host involvement.
  3. Confirm the contents description is something they can legally carry.
  4. Only then confirm the booking so J1USD can lock.
