Each parcel listing has a lifecycle: draft, open for matches, booked, in transit (possibly multi-leg), delivered, or cancelled/disputed. Manage everything from the shipment screen in the app so statuses, photos, and the J1USD hold stay aligned.
Before anyone books
You can usually edit airport cities, photos, weight, and description while the listing is unmatched. After a traveler confirms, treat material changes as a new agreement — ask in chat and follow the in-app change flow rather than silently swapping contents.
After booking
- Watch flight dates. A cancelled passenger flight is not automatically a cancelled AirJIT booking until you update it.
- If you need a Host hold, add it through the product rather than improvising storage with a stranger.
- If you booked multiple travelers for legs, manage each leg’s window separately.
Cancel versus dispute
Cancel when both sides can still unwind before collect — for example the traveler’s flight moved and no Host can bridge the gap. Open a dispute when custody already changed, the parcel is damaged, or delivery is contested. Held J1USD follows the resolved state, not a side agreement in text messages.
