Disputes and safety

Stay safe at AirJIT handoffs, keep evidence in the app, and open a dispute if delivery, damage, or identity does not match the original listing.

6 min read · English

Most AirJIT trips complete when both sides follow the listing: public or Host handoff, inspection photos, and recipient confirmation. When something breaks — no-show, damage, mismatch, or contested delivery — use the in-app record. Off-app payments and private address changes are how funds leave protection.

Handoff safety

  • Meet in a public airport area or at the Host facility — not a private residence unless doorstep was explicitly booked
  • Match the person to the in-app profile and booking details
  • Photograph the parcel at collect and at deliver
  • Do not share extra identity scans in chat beyond what the app already collected

Keep payment inside AirJIT

Shipper payment is held until delivery is confirmed, then settled in J1USD. Anyone asking you to release early, pay a “customs fee” to a personal wallet, or move the chat to WhatsApp to “finish faster” is a red flag. Report and stop.

Opening a dispute

  1. Stay in the shipment thread. Do not delete photos or messages.
  2. Describe what happened with times, locations, and who held the parcel.
  3. Attach inspection photos, boarding or Host confirmations, and any damage evidence.
  4. Submit the in-app dispute or support request from that shipment — not a generic social DM.

What support can and cannot do

Support can review the booking record, held J1USD, and submitted evidence. It cannot override customs seizures, airline refusals, or criminal investigations. It cannot recover funds you sent outside the hold.
