Payments and fees

Understand AirJIT shipping costs: payment held until delivery, settlement in J1USD, what changes the price, and why you should not pay travelers directly.

6 min read · English

When you confirm a traveler, the app shows the amount to lock. That J1USD stays held until delivery is confirmed. It is then split among the traveler, any Host who completed a paid step, and platform fees.

What usually affects the amount

  • Weight and dimensions versus leftover luggage kg
  • Route rarity and how soon you need arrival
  • Number of legs and Host handling
  • Doorstep pickup or drop-off
  • Shop & Carry purchase value when a traveler buys the item for you

How to pay

  1. Hold J1USD in the in-app destination or connected wallet using the official contract.
  2. Confirm the booking so the hold attaches to this shipment.
  3. Do not send extra J1USD, USDT, or cash to the traveler “to be safe.”

Refunds and partial completion

If a trip never collects, the hold should unwind rather than pay a delivery bounty. If one leg completed and another failed, resolution follows evidence for each hop. See Disputes and safety.

FAQ

Is there a single global price per kilogram?
No. Amounts depend on route, weight, urgency, optional Host or doorstep service, and the matched trip — not a public rate card.
What token am I charged in?
J1USD. It is USD-referenced settlement on BNB Smart Chain with 6 decimals. It is not JIT.
