Ship versus travel

Choose the shipper path to send a parcel, or the traveler path to carry unused luggage kg. Both confirm in the app and settle completed jobs in J1USD.

5 min read · English

AirJIT has two everyday roles in the app: shippers who need something moved, and travelers who already have a route and spare kilograms. Hosts are a third, operator role — they run a local facility rather than listing a personal trip or parcel.

If you need to send something

Use the shipper flow. Create a parcel listing with airport cities, size, weight, contents, photos, and timing. Review matching travelers, agree the handoff, and lock payment. Funds stay held until the recipient confirms delivery. Settlement is in J1USD.

  • Best when you already have the item and a recipient
  • Shop & Carry is the variant where a traveler buys the item and carries it
  • You stay responsible for lawful contents and honest descriptions

If you are already traveling

Use the traveler flow. List your flights, dates, leftover kg, and meeting preferences. Accept only parcels you inspect and that fit airline rules. After delivery is confirmed, earnings settle in J1USD.

  • Best when you already booked a trip and have unused luggage allowance
  • You can decline any match — airline and customs rules win
  • Multi-city and return trips can carry different parcels on different legs

When a Host is involved

A Host does not replace either role. If you cannot meet at the airport, or a multi-leg shipment needs to sit between flights, a Host can collect, store, inspect, and hand off. Host fees are part of the same J1USD settlement path.

FAQ

Can I be both a shipper and a traveler?
Yes. The same verified account can list parcels and list trips. Each listing is independent.
Do travelers get a free ticket?
No. Earnings depend on completed, confirmed deliveries. AirJIT is not a guaranteed free-flight program.
