AirJIT matches shippers with travelers based on travel routes, which typically involve flights between major airport cities. Selecting the correct airport cities for sender and recipient is what makes matching possible.
Why airport cities matter
Travelers list flights, not street addresses. If you pick the wrong hub, you will see trips that cannot carry your parcel. Recipients who live far from the destination airport need a Host, doorstep option, or their own local transport from that city.
How to select
- Start Create a parcel from Home, Explore, or the Parcels tab.
- Enter the sender’s airport city — the city closest to where the parcel will be handed over. Choose the suggested airport that is actually convenient.
- Enter the recipient’s airport city the same way.
- Review the route. Those cities determine flight paths and potential travelers.
If your city has no major airport
- Choose the nearest major airport city as pickup or drop-off.
- After listing, add the exact sender or recipient address when the app allows.
- Arrange local dispatch to the traveler or Host via a local courier if needed.
- Plan timing so the parcel reaches the traveler before departure — or the recipient after arrival.
