Dispute resolution fees are charges incurred when a dispute arises between the traveler and the shipper, requiring AirJIT's intervention to resolve. These fees cover the administrative costs of handling and resolving disputes to ensure fair outcomes for all parties involved.

When Dispute Resolution Fees Apply​

Dispute resolution fees apply in the following situations:

  1. Unresolved Claims: When a party submits a claim and the other party does not respond within 24 hours or denies the claim, it automatically turns into a dispute, and AirJIT intervenes.

  2. Payment Disputes: Issues regarding payment discrepancies, such as incorrect amounts received or non-payment.

  3. Parcel Condition Disputes: Disagreements about the condition of the parcel upon delivery, including damages or missing items.

  4. Service Disputes: Disputes related to the quality or timeliness of the service provided by the traveler.

Amount and Calculation of Dispute Resolution Fees​

  1. Flat Fee:

    • AirJIT charges a flat fee of $10 for dispute resolution
    • This fee is deducted from the earnings of the party found at fault
    • Example: If a dispute is resolved against you, $10 will be deducted from your earnings

  2. Claim Amount:

    • In addition to the dispute resolution fee, the guilty party will also be responsible for the claim amount

    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the shipper throughout the process
