Pick-up and Drop-off Locations

Pick-up is where travelers collect parcels, and drop-off is where they deliver them. These apply to each trip and can be managed individually. By default, the starting and destination airports are free pick-up and drop-off locations.

Travelers can add additional locations such as homes, hotels, or a friend's address (not public places):

  1. List your travel on AirJIT.
  2. Select the trip and navigate to "Pick & Drop".
  3. Enter the details: name, phone number, address, and schedule.

General Schedule Rules

  • Airport Pick-Up: No earlier than 8 hours before departure.
  • Airport Drop-Off: No later than 8 hours after arrival.
  • Accommodation Pick-Up: No later than 8 hours before departure.
  • Accommodation Drop-Off: No earlier than 8 hours after arrival.

Travelers can cancel parcel pick-ups for free before the collection deadline but are responsible for deliveries unless the shipper is a no-show. For Shop on Demand (Shop and Carry) parcels, the traveler is responsible for both pick-up and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Travelers: Responsible for delivering parcels within the schedule.
  • Shippers: Responsible for dispatching parcels to the agreed pick-up locations.
  • Shop on Demand Parcels: Traveler responsible for both pick-up and delivery.

Communication

Effective communication between travelers and shippers is essential for successful parcel exchanges. Ensure that both parties:

  • Confirm pick-up and drop-off times and locations.
  • Exchange contact information for easy communication.
  • Notify each other of any changes or delays as soon as possible.

Unique Codes and PINs

Each trip has unique code numbers for pick-ups and PIN codes for drop-offs, verifying that the correct person is collecting or delivering the parcel. Shippers also have their own codes for verification.
