Default Airport Locations

Airport locations are the default pick-up and drop-off points set by AirJIT. These locations are always available for free parcel collection and delivery, ensuring a basic level of convenience for both travelers and shippers. Travelers do not need to add additional locations if they are using the airport for both pick-up and drop-off.

Schedule and Timing

To ensure smooth parcel handover at airport locations, adhere to the following timing rules:

  • Airport Pick-Up: Travelers can collect parcels no earlier than 8 hours before departure and no later than the flight departure time.
  • Airport Drop-Off: Parcels must be delivered no later than 8 hours after the flight's arrival time.

These schedules are designed to accommodate the traveler's itinerary while providing a clear window for parcel exchanges.

Shop on Demand Parcels

For Shop on Demand (Shop and Carry) parcels, the traveler is responsible for both pick-up and delivery. If the pick-up is arranged through third parties to the airport, the traveler must ensure that these arrangements are made properly and timely. The traveler collects the items, ensures they meet the shipper's requirements, and then delivers them to the recipient.

What Happens If Missed

If a parcel is not collected or delivered within the designated time frame:

  • Missed Pick-Up: Travelers must report a no-show if the shipper does not show up at the airport within the allotted time. The parcel pick-up can be canceled for free before the collection deadline.
  • Missed Drop-Off: If the traveler is unable to deliver the parcel on time, they should leave the parcel at their accommodation address or arrange for a new drop-off time. It is crucial to communicate any delays or issues promptly to avoid penalties.

Communication

Effective communication between travelers and shippers is essential for successful parcel exchanges. Ensure that both parties:

  • Confirm pick-up and drop-off times and locations.
  • Exchange contact information for easy communication.
  • Notify each other of any changes or delays as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Travelers: Responsible for collecting parcels from the airport pick-up location and delivering them to the airport drop-off location within the specified schedule.
  • Shippers: Responsible for dispatching parcels to the agreed pick-up location at the airport on time.
  • Shop on Demand Parcels: Traveler responsible for both pick-up and delivery if using third parties to arrange pick-up to the airport.
