How to review, confirm, and manage your AirJIT shipments
Reviewing Booked Shipments
To review the shipments booked to your trip:
- Log In: Access your AirJIT account.
- Navigate to the Travel Tab: Go to the "Travel" section from your dashboard.
- Select a Travel: Choose the specific travel plan.
- Select a Trip: If there are multiple trips, select the specific trip you want to review.
- View Booked Shipments: In the trip details, you will see a section labeled "Booked Shipments." Tap on each shipment to view detailed information such as weight, dimensions, and photos.
Confirming Shipments
If you agree to carry a booked shipment, no further action is needed. The shipment is automatically confirmed unless you decide to cancel it. Ensure that the parcel meets the correct weight, dimension, and photo guidelines as prescribed in the listing.
Cancelling Shipments
If you decide not to carry a booked shipment, you should cancel it as soon as possible:
- Select the Shipment: In the "Booked Shipments" section, tap on the shipment you want to cancel.
- Cancel Shipment: Choose the option to cancel the shipment.
- Free Cancellation: Cancellations are free if done 24 hours before departure and before collecting the parcel otherwise you must provide a valid reason for free cancellation.
Communicating with Shippers
Effective communication with shippers is crucial to ensure smooth operations:
- Message Shippers: Use the messaging feature in the AirJIT app to communicate with shippers, senders, or receivers.
- Confirm Details: Confirm shipment details, pick-up, and drop-off locations, and address any concerns or special instructions.
- Report Issues: If there are any issues with a shipment, report them using the "Report an Issue" button in the trip details.
By efficiently reviewing, confirming, and managing your booked shipments, you can ensure a smooth experience for both yourself and the shippers on AirJIT.
