When cancelling your entire travel plan, it's important to understand the impact on your shipments and the steps involved.
Impact on Shipments
Cancelling your entire travel plan will result in the cancellation of all associated shipments. This affects:
- Booked Shipments: All booked shipments will be cancelled, and shippers will be notified
- Collected Parcels: If parcels have already been collected, they must be returned to the shippers
Managing the Cancellation Process
- Log In: Access your AirJIT account
- Navigate to My Travels: Select the travel plan you wish to cancel
- Cancel Travel: Choose the option to cancel the travel. You can either:
- Just Cancel: Cancel the travel without re-listing
- Cancel and Re-List: Cancel the travel and save the details for re-listing
Re-Listing Travel After Cancellation
If you choose to re-list:
- Edit Travel Details: Update any necessary information such as:
- New destinations
- Routes
- Schedules
- Re-List Travel: Submit the updated travel plan to create a new listing
Initiating Cancellation
To cancel your entire travel:
- Navigate to My Travels: Go to the "My Travels" section in your account
- Select the Travel Plan: Choose the travel plan you wish to cancel
- Cancellation Options: At the very bottom of the travel details, tap the "Cancel Travel" button
- Choose "Just Cancel" or "Cancel and Re-List" as per your preference
Compensation and Penalties
Cancelling your entire travel will have the following impacts on compensation and penalties:
Cancellation by Traveler
- You will not be compensated for any potential earnings unless you have valid reasons such as:
- Health emergencies
- Natural disasters
Cancellation by AirJIT or Shipper
- If AirJIT or the shipper cancels your travel plan due to:
- Their own reasons
- Policy violations
- You may be compensated based on the circumstances
