How to Book Shipments for Your Travel on AirJIT

A step-by-step guide to booking and viewing shipments for your AirJIT trip

Submitting Your Travel and Listing Your Trip​

Once you submit your travel with all required documentation, your trip is listed on AirJIT. Ensure that your travel plan includes valid documents such as:

  • Flight tickets
  • Accommodation proof
  • Passport
  • Visa
  • Any other necessary travel documents

AirJIT's Smart Matching Algorithm​

After your trip is listed, AirJIT's smart matching algorithm scans for all pending parcels that match your travel route and schedule. These parcels are automatically booked to your trip based on:

  • Route Compatibility: Parcels moving through the same route as your trip.
  • Schedule Matching: Shipments that align with your trip's schedule.

Reviewing and Accepting Shipments​

As soon as parcels are booked to your trip:

  1. Log In: Access your AirJIT account.
  2. Navigate to My Trips: Select the specific trip to review booked shipments.
  3. Review Each Shipment: Carefully review each parcel's details, including weight, dimensions, and photos as prescribed in the listing.
  4. Decide to Accept or Cancel: You have the option to accept or cancel any shipment. Cancellations are free if done 24 hours before departure and before collecting the parcel.

Viewing Booked Shipments​

To see the booked shipments:

  1. Go to the Travel Tab: Navigate to the "Travel" section from your dashboard.
  2. Select a Travel: Choose the specific travel plan you are interested in.
  3. Select a Trip: If your travel involves multiple trips, select the specific trip you want to view.
  4. View Booked Shipments: In the trip details, you will see a section labeled "Booked Shipments." Tap on each shipment to view detailed information and message the shipper, sender, or receiver if needed.

Additional Considerations​

  • Weight and Dimensions: Ensure parcels comply with the weight and dimension guidelines.
  • Personal Luggage: Treat AirJIT parcels as part of your personal luggage, ensuring safe handling and transport.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with shippers to address any concerns or special instructions.
