Cancellation 24 Hours Before Traveler's Departure

As a shipper, you can cancel your shipment up to 24 hours before the traveler's departure without incurring any penalties. This flexibility allows you to manage unexpected changes or circumstances. Once you confirm the cancellation, the funds from your AirJIT wallet that were allocated for this shipment will be fully refunded, and the traveler will be notified automatically. The cancellation process is straightforward, ensuring that your parcel is re-listed for another traveler promptly, should you decide to re-list it.
Cancellation Less Than 24 Hours Before Traveler's Departure
Cancellation by Shipper
If you need to cancel a shipment less than 24 hours before the traveler's departure, a penalty of 50% of the shipping cost will be applied. This penalty is deducted from the amount escrowed in your AirJIT wallet. The traveler will receive half of their expected earnings as compensation for the late cancellation. However, if you have a valid reason—such as a sudden emergency or other serious circumstances—no penalties will be applied, and your funds will be refunded in full.
Reasons and Penalties for Cancellation
Valid Reasons for Free Cancellation Without Penalty:

Health or Emergency Situations: If you experience a personal health emergency or another serious issue that prevents you from dispatching the parcel, you can cancel without any penalty.

Natural Disasters or Unforeseen Events: Situations such as natural disasters or other uncontrollable circumstances that hinder your ability to send the parcel.

Significant Travel Disruptions: If the traveler's schedule is severely disrupted, which might affect the shipment's delivery, you can cancel without penalty.
Penalties for Late Cancellations:
- Cancellation Less Than 24 Hours Before Departure: You will be charged 50% of the shipment cost if you cancel less than 24 hours before the traveler's scheduled departure without a valid reason. The traveler will receive half of their potential earnings as compensation.
How to Cancel Your Shipment

Navigate to the Parcels Tab: Log in to your AirJIT account and go to the "Parcels" tab.

Select the Shipment: Choose the shipment you wish to cancel from your list of active parcels.

Initiate Cancellation: Scroll to the bottom of the parcel details page and tap the "Cancel" button to begin the cancellation process.

Confirm Cancellation: Follow the prompts to confirm your cancellation, ensuring you understand any penalties that may apply.
