JIT — protocol security asset

JIT is AirJIT’s protocol security asset: staking, governance, validator incentives, and Host bonds. Commercial payments use J1USD — not JIT.

6 min read · English

JIT is the native Protocol Security Asset of AirJIT. Its primary purpose is cryptoeconomic security and governance — not day-to-day commercial payments. Settlement of logistics obligations uses J1USD.

Roles of JIT

  • Protocol staking and economic security
  • Governance participation
  • Validator incentives (design)
  • Host corridor deposits (live product)
  • Treasury and network alignment

Design principles

  • Security before speculation
  • Governance before ownership
  • Contribution before extraction

Live token pointer

Official JIT: 0x514D1A3576dB4b10F3bE4acC78c4fE103fF18F68, 18 decimals, original mint 100,000,000, not upgradeable, burnable, not a stablecoin. Tokenomics and closed presale vesting are documented in the JIT cluster.

FAQ

Is max supply 1 billion JIT?
That figure appears as protocol design in the March 2025 whitepaper. Live original minted supply is 100,000,000 JIT. Use 100 million for explorers, wallets, and listings.
