Logistics State Machine (LSM)

Logistics State Machine adalah cara PAEE merepresentasikan siklus hidup paket — terpasang, dibooking, dalam kustodi, dalam perjalanan, terkirim, sengketa — dengan transisi deterministik.

bacaan 6 menit

The Logistics State Machine (LSM) is the formal lifecycle of a DLA under PAEE. States are named, transitions are gated by events, and illegal jumps are simply not in the machine — they are bugs if an implementation allows them.

Example state families (product-aligned)

  • Draft / listed — identity exists, no commercial hold yet
  • Booked — parties accepted; J1USD hold attached
  • In custody — a traveler or Host has accepted after inspection
  • In transit — flight or local hop underway
  • Hub hold — Host storage between legs
  • Delivered — recipient confirmation; settlement release
  • Refused / cancelled / disputed — terminal or exception branches

Transition rules

You cannot mark delivered from listed without custody events. You cannot attach a second conflicting final recipient without a defined split. Multi-leg shipments are compositions of LSM segments on the same DLA, not a new informal chat process.

Why this matters in disputes

Support and participants reconstruct the path through the machine using photos and timestamps as event payloads. A well-typed LSM is how J1USD escrow conditions stay programmable instead of discretionary.
