How travel with AirJIT works

The traveler workflow: list your trip, book matching parcels, communicate with shippers, collect and deliver, and receive J1USD after confirmation.

7 min read

Travel with AirJIT means putting leftover luggage capacity to work on a journey you already booked. You are not becoming a cargo airline. You accept only what you inspect and what your carrier will allow.

End-to-end flow

  1. Complete eligibility and add travel documents.
  2. List flights, leftover kg, and handoff preferences.
  3. Review matching parcels. Decline anything off.
  4. Confirm bookings so shipper J1USD locks.
  5. Collect, inspect, photograph, and travel.
  6. Deliver at airport, Host, or doorstep. After confirmation, earnings settle in J1USD.

Optional extras

You can opt into doorstep collect/deliver or Shop & Carry (buy an item for a shipper and carry it). Those are explicit listing choices, not defaults. Hosts can replace a gate meetup when you cannot wait.

FAQ

Do I change my flight for AirJIT?
No. List trips you are already taking. Parcels must fit that route, dates, and leftover kg.
When do I get paid?
After delivery is confirmed. Earnings settle in J1USD. Payment is held from the shipper until then.
