Why Configure Web Notifications?​

Configuring notifications on the web ensures you stay informed about important updates while using AirJIT on your computer. Web notifications are particularly useful when you're managing shipments, travels, or account activities, as they allow you to receive real-time alerts even when you're not actively browsing the AirJIT website.

Enabling Notifications in Your Web Browser​

  1. Log in to AirJIT: Start by logging in to your AirJIT account on your preferred web browser.
  2. Permission Prompt: When you first log in, your browser may prompt you to allow notifications from AirJIT. Click "Allow" to enable notifications.
  3. Manually Enable Notifications:
    • Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Notifications. Find AirJIT in the list and ensure notifications are set to "Allow."
    • Firefox: Go to Options > Privacy & Security > Permissions. Under Notifications, click "Settings" and find AirJIT. Ensure it is set to "Allow."
    • Edge: Go to Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Notifications. Find AirJIT and ensure notifications are enabled.
    • Safari: Go to Preferences > Websites > Notifications. Find AirJIT and select "Allow."

Customizing Web Notifications on AirJIT​

  1. Access Notification Settings: After enabling notifications in your browser, go to the notification settings within your AirJIT account.
  2. Select Notification Types: Choose which types of notifications you want to receive on the web, such as parcel updates, travel alerts, or account activity notifications.
  3. Set Notification Preferences: Customize how you receive these notifications, such as enabling pop-up alerts, sound alerts, or desktop notifications.

Managing Browser-Specific Notification Settings​

  • Updating Permissions: If you need to update or revoke notification permissions for AirJIT, return to your browser's settings and adjust the permissions for the AirJIT website.
  • Clearing Permissions: In some cases, you might want to clear all permissions and start over. This can be done by clearing your browser's cache or resetting site settings, then re-enabling notifications when prompted.
