Why Enable Notifications on Mobile Devices?​

Enabling notifications on your mobile device ensures that you stay informed about important updates, such as travel changes, parcel statuses, security alerts, and promotional offers. Whether you're using AirJIT as a shipper, traveler, or both, mobile notifications help you manage your activities in real-time, keeping you connected and responsive.

Steps to Enable Notifications on Android​

  1. Open Settings: On your Android device, go to "Settings."
  2. Navigate to Apps & Notifications: Scroll down and select "Apps & Notifications."
  3. Select AirJIT: Find and select the AirJIT app from the list of installed apps.
  4. Tap on Notifications: In the AirJIT app settings, tap on "Notifications."
  5. Enable Notifications: Toggle the switch to enable notifications. You can also customize notification settings by choosing which types of alerts you want to receive, such as sound, vibration, and notification categories.

Steps to Enable Notifications on iOS​

  1. Open Settings: On your iOS device, open the "Settings" app.
  2. Go to Notifications: Scroll down and tap on "Notifications."
  3. Select AirJIT: Find and tap on AirJIT from the list of apps under Notifications.
  4. Enable Notifications: Toggle the "Allow Notifications" switch to enable notifications. You can also customize how notifications appear by adjusting settings for sounds, badges, and alert styles (e.g., banners, lock screen).
  5. Notification Options: Choose how you want to be notified (e.g., sounds, badges, or alerts) and where you want notifications to appear (e.g., lock screen, notification center).

Managing Notification Preferences​

  • Customizing Alerts: Both Android and iOS allow you to further customize your notification preferences for the AirJIT app, such as enabling or disabling sound and vibration alerts.
  • Adjusting Notification Frequency: In the AirJIT app, you can also adjust the frequency of certain notifications by navigating to the app's notification settings and selecting how often you want to receive updates.
  • Disabling Notifications: If you decide you no longer want to receive notifications from AirJIT, you can follow the same steps to disable notifications by toggling off the notification settings.
