What Are In-App Notifications?​

In-app notifications are alerts that appear within the AirJIT app or website while you're actively using the platform. These notifications are designed to provide real-time updates and important information related to your account activities, such as travel updates, parcel statuses, or account security alerts.

Where In-App Notifications Appear​

In-app notifications typically appear as banners, pop-ups, or alerts within the AirJIT interface. They may be displayed at the top or bottom of the screen, or in a dedicated notifications section within the app. These notifications are easily accessible and can be viewed at any time during your session.

Types of In-App Notifications​

  1. Travel-Related Updates:

    • Notifications about your current or upcoming trips, such as booking confirmations, departure reminders, and changes to your itinerary.

  2. Parcel Updates:

    • Real-time updates on your parcels, including dispatch status, in-transit updates, and delivery confirmations.

  3. Account Activity Alerts:

    • Notifications about changes to your account, such as profile updates, payment confirmations, or security alerts.

  4. Promotional Messages:

    • Occasional in-app notifications about special offers, discounts, or important announcements from AirJIT.

Managing In-App Notifications​

  1. Access Notification Settings:

    • Within the AirJIT app or website, navigate to the "Notification Preferences" section to manage your in-app notifications.

  2. Customize Notifications:

    • Choose which types of in-app notifications you want to receive. For example, you can enable notifications for travel updates while disabling promotional messages.

  3. Review Notifications:

    • If you miss an in-app notification, you can usually review it in the app's notifications section, where past alerts are stored for easy access.

  4. Dismiss Notifications:

    • In-app notifications can often be dismissed or snoozed if you prefer to address them later. Simply swipe or click on the notification to remove it from your screen.
