Prerequisites for Activation
Before activating the AirJIT Wallet, make sure to:
- Have an active AirJIT account – Sign up on the AirJIT platform if this hasn't been done yet.
- Complete KYC Verification – Identity verification is required to enable full functionality.
- Set Up a T-PIN – A 4-digit PIN needed for outgoing transactions such as withdrawals.
Completing KYC Verification
KYC verification ensures security and compliance. If KYC hasn't been completed yet, a prompt will appear when attempting to activate the wallet. Follow these steps:
- Submit a government-issued ID.
- Upload proof of address (such as a utility bill or bank statement).
- Complete a facial verification check.
- Wait for approval, which usually takes a few hours but may take up to 24 hours.

Activating Your Wallet
Once KYC is approved, activate the wallet with these steps:
- Open the Wallet Dashboard.
- Find the "Activate Wallet" button on the main balance card.
- Click "Activate Wallet". If KYC is incomplete, complete it first.
- If KYC is verified, proceed to set up a T-PIN.
Setting Up Your T-PIN
The T-PIN (Transaction PIN) is a 4-digit security code used for all outgoing transactions, including withdrawals and payments. To set up a T-PIN:
- After clicking "Activate Wallet," a prompt will appear to create a T-PIN.
- Enter a secure 4-digit PIN and confirm it.
- A verification code will be sent to your registered email or phone number.
- Enter the verification code to confirm the T-PIN setup.
- Save the PIN securely – this will be required for all outgoing transactions.
- Once confirmed, the wallet is fully activated and ready to use.
Common Activation Issues & Solutions
- KYC Verification Delays? Double-check that submitted documents are clear and valid.
- T-PIN Setup Issues? Make sure the PIN is exactly 4 digits.
- Wallet Not Activating? Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in.
