When Identity Verification is Required
AirJIT requires users to verify their identity before they can list their first travel, ship their first parcel, or activate their wallet. This is to ensure the safety and security of all transactions on the platform.
Accessing Identity Verification
You can access the identity verification process from four different places:
- While Listing Travel: If you're not yet verified, you'll be prompted to verify your identity.
- While Shipping a Parcel: Similarly, if unverified, you'll need to complete verification before proceeding.
- Account Tab: You can also start the verification process from the "Identity Verification" option at the top of your account tab.
- Profile Section: Access your profile and tap the verification option to begin the process.
Steps to Verify Your Identity
- Choose Your ID Type: After accessing the verification option, select the country where your ID was issued and choose the type of ID (Passport, Driver's License, or National ID).
- Take Photos of Your ID: If you choose an ID other than a passport, you'll need to take clear photos of both the front and back sides. Ensure that the images are well-lit and not blurry.
- Real-Time Selfie: Next, you'll be prompted to take a real-time selfie to match with your ID. Ensure your face is clearly visible, well-lit, and free from any obstructions.
- Submit for Verification: Once you've completed the steps, submit your details. AirJIT will review your submission, and you'll be notified once your identity is verified.
