What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an additional layer of security for your AirJIT account. It requires you to verify your identity using two forms of identification: something you know (your password) and something you have (a verification code sent to your email). This extra step makes it significantly harder for unauthorized users to access your account, even if they have your password.

How 2FA Works on AirJIT

Once 2FA is enabled, every time you log in to AirJIT, you'll be required to enter your password and a unique verification code that is sent to your registered email address. This code is only valid for a short period and adds an extra level of protection to your account.

Steps to Enable 2FA on Your Account

  1. Log in to Your AirJIT Account: Start by logging in to your AirJIT account using your username and password.
  2. Access Login and Security: Navigate to the "Login and Security" section under your account settings.
  3. Enable 2FA: Find the option for Two-Factor Authentication and toggle it on.
  4. Verify Your Email: A verification code will be sent to your registered email address. Enter this code to confirm and activate 2FA.
  5. 2FA Enabled: Once confirmed, 2FA will be enabled on your account. You'll now need to enter a verification code sent to your email each time you log in.

Managing 2FA Settings

  • Changing Your Email: If you change your registered email address, ensure you update your 2FA settings to continue receiving verification codes.
  • Disabling 2FA: You can disable 2FA at any time from the same settings menu, though we strongly recommend keeping it enabled for your security.
