What Does Deactivating Your Account Mean?

Deactivating your AirJIT account means temporarily disabling your account without permanently deleting your data. While your account is deactivated, other users won't be able to view your profile, and you won't be able to use AirJIT services such as listing travels, shipping parcels, or interacting with other users. However, your data, including account settings and past interactions, will be preserved in case you choose to reactivate your account later.

When to Consider Deactivating Your Account

You might consider deactivating your AirJIT account in the following situations:

  • Taking a Break: If you need a break from using AirJIT but don't want to lose your account information.
  • Security Concerns: If you suspect unauthorized access and need time to secure your account.
  • Travel or Extended Absence: If you'll be away for an extended period and won't be using the platform.

Steps to Deactivate Your AirJIT Account

  1. Log in to Your AirJIT Account: Start by logging in to your AirJIT account using your username and password.
  2. Access Account Settings: Navigate to the "Account Security" section under your account settings.
  3. Choose Deactivate Account: Find the option labeled "Deactivate Account" and select it.
  4. Confirm Deactivation: You'll be prompted to confirm your decision. Review the information and click "Confirm" to deactivate your account.
  5. Account Deactivated: Once confirmed, your account will be deactivated. You will receive an email confirming the deactivation.

Reactivating Your Account

If you decide to return to AirJIT, you can easily reactivate your account:

  • Log In Again: Simply log in to your AirJIT account using your previous credentials. You'll be prompted to reactivate your account.
  • Verify Information: You may be asked to verify your identity or update your security settings before reactivating.
