AirJIT parcels travel as a person’s luggage. If an airline, security checkpoint, or customs authority would refuse the item, it does not belong on AirJIT. Honest listings protect shippers, travelers, Hosts, and recipients.
Never list or accept
- Illegal drugs and undeclared controlled substances
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and realistic replicas that security would treat as weapons
- Hazardous materials: flammables, corrosives, compressed gases, radioactive materials, lithium batteries shipped unsafely
- Live animals, perishable biological materials, and human remains
- Counterfeit goods and items that infringe intellectual property
- Cash, cash equivalents, and unlicensed money transmission
- Identity documents, passports, and stolen property
- Anything the shipper will not let a traveler or Host inspect
Restricted, not automatic
Some consumer electronics, liquids, powders, food, and branded goods may be legal in one corridor and blocked in another. Declare contents accurately, include value for customs, and expect a traveler or Host to open outer packaging when the listing requires inspection.
If you are a traveler or Host
- Read the listing before you accept.
- Inspect at collect. Photograph mismatches.
- Decline on the spot if the contents do not match or look prohibited.
- Do not “help” by carrying an undeclared item to keep a payout.

- AirJIT policy, airline rules, and origin/destination law all apply. The strictest rule wins. Travelers and Hosts must refuse items they cannot legally carry.
- Can I send cash or passports?
- Do not list cash, bearer instruments, or identity documents. Use appropriate official channels for those.
